There are 3 of us travelling to Paris in the month of May and we are looking for a hotel close to some of the major attractions? Like the eiffel tower? Not too pricey, something in the middle?

Hi PIP, try the Hotel Suez
It is very central, not too expensive and highly recommended by regular traveller to Paris ArrowCapet (with an outfit like his ID photo, who could look further?)

Dear PIP
Just stayed at the Hotel du Calvados, Rue D%26#39;Amsterdam which was OK for a short stay. I have just posted a review which should be posted by Trip Advisor shortly. It%26#39;s in a great location for all the attractions. I personally wouldn%26#39;t get to hung up on location as Paris has an excellent reliable and relatively cheap transport system. An unlimited travel card for central Paris is only about 11 Euros. If you want even cheaper accomodation then look around Sacre Coeur but do remember you get what you pay for.
Enjoy your visit.

I suggest you buy and study 2 books to begin your planning:
A good map - e.g. Streetwise Paris:
A good guidebook - e.g. DK Eyewitness Travelguide Paris
The start searching for hotels on this website (left column = %26quot;Paris Hotels%26quot;). You can type area and price range. Then read a lot of guest reviews, and start picking the ones that appeal mostly to your taste.
