How do I contact Hotel Campanile Centre?

I am hoping someone can help me - I am trying to make a booking at Hotel Campanile Centre in Dijon. They seem to have a strange website that shows that I must %26quot;contact your hotel directly for details and to obtain definitive confirmation of your booking%26quot; (quote) - however there is no direct email address and no direct phone or fax number. Has anyone had experience with this hotel and can help me work out what I am meant to do??? Thanks in anticipation. Jeanette

If they don%26#39;t answer you and you want to stay nearthe station with the same price range, try Kyriad on the other side of the street.

There even seems to be another Kyriad nearby called Kyriad gare

Otherwise you can find le Jura Hotel (Tulip Inn chain) next to them but much more expensive.

Thanks happyindijon (you are a great resource for your town!!). We are only in Dijon 24 hours, so thought being near the station would be a good idea. Are the other 2 hotels close by to the station, and how long would it take to walk into the areas we will want to see? Maybe the Campanile is closed for winter??%26gt;? what do you think? Thanks again, Jeanette

I find that e-mails are not always the best way to communicate. Some people say they have them but then never reply. I would suggest you try phoning - I know tricky with the time difference or if you could send a fax they often work out the best.

This week I was getting nowhere with a surveyor so I sent a fax and he replied by return. Worth a try perhaps.

Good luck

My pleasure Jeanette!

I don%26#39;t know any hotel closing for winter in Dijon since there is no high/low season. You should do what JBart suggested.

As I mentioned the other hotels are close to the railway station as well.

From there it takes a couple of minutes to walk to the historic center (starting from place Darcy, don%26#39;t miss the garden behind the tourist office!)

24h is very short so if you want to see the most of it, ask for the owl%26#39;s trail brochure (2euros).

VoilĂ !

Thank you both - and yes, JBart, the fax was the answer!! Sent off faxes and they were replied to. Good thinking!

I%26#39;m so glad it worked. I just find that in many cases the fax still rules in France. I hope you have a lovely stay.
