CDG to Galleria La Fayette

I have never been to paris and be having a 7 hour (8am-3pm) stop over in March before flying off to germany. During those 7 hour layby..thinking of visiting Galleria La Fayette as quickly and smoothly as possible as not to miss flight at 5pm. Can someone advise the quickest and reasonably cheap way to travel from CDG to Rue La fayette and return to terminal 3 in time for my flight. Tq.

Hello,

the best way for you would be to take the %26quot;Roissybus%26quot; (www.ratp.fr). It takes you directly to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, the french main shops in Opera. Although you%26#39;ll probably get stucked in traffic at your arrival, it takes you at the front door of Galeries Lafayette for 17 euros return. You%26#39;ll pay much more by taxi (around 50 euros one way) and also get stucked in traffic.

Finally, you can also take the RER B and have 1 or 2 connections in the metro : less sexy, crowded but no traffic jams, for the same price as Roissybus.

Leaving at 8 from CDG, you%26#39;ll probably get at Opera by 9h15 or 30 and I advise you to leave at 2 or 2h30 pm.

Norok...thanks for the tip and do you think I could take the bus too returning to Terminal 3 CDG? Which direction or is there a sign on bus?

Sure, you can take it back to CDG : the bus goes through all CDG terminals, terminal 3 included. From Opera (the station is in front of The American Express bank, Rue Scribe, check www.ratp.fr ), the only direction is CDG, the bus doesn%26#39;t stop anywhere else. Let me know when you%26#39;ll got home after your short-short shopping parisian trip ! :-)
