We are thinking of going to Annecy at the end of March for 5 nights.
Is it easy to get there by train from Grenoble?
We will have no transport, therefore can we go to other interesting towns easily by train?
Regards

It will take about 2 hours to get from Grenoble to Annecy by train. Yes, it is a pretty easy trip though you may have to change in Chambéry.
As for other places it all depends what you consider %26quot;interesting.%26quot; I think you can probably reach any of Geneva, Lyon. Chamonix or Evian-les-Bains in ~2 hours or less, so anywhere within that circle should be doable. There may not be very frequent service on some routes however.
Check voyages-sncf.com for timetables and fares.
