Hotel Muguet electricity

Hello. We will be staying at the Hotel Muguet this summer and I wish to bring my own hair dryer and iron. I was wondering if anyone knew if this hotel offers outlets that i can use for my personal hairdryer and iron...using the necessary electrical converter that I will purchase here in the US before I leave. I would ask Madam Catherine personally, however, I have already bothered her with too many questions and don%26#39;t want to bother her with more at this point.

Hair dryers and straigtening/curling irons DO NOT work even with a converter. Sorry but you%26#39;ll either have to buy a dual voltage one or buy one in Paris.

I don%26#39;t know why the previous poster indicated that hair dryers don%26#39;t work with converters -- they certainly do -- but it is a pain to lug a converter -- it is so much easier to buy a cheap dual voltage hairdryer -- you can get them for about 12 bucks in the US and just use a plug adapter --much more convenient than a converter

When you say iron do you mean for your hair or your clothes? If you mean for your hair, consider that Paris in summer is hot and super humid and the smoothness you add to your hair isn%26#39;t likely to last very long - if you%26#39;re talking about clothes - don%26#39;t carry the weight. Either pack clothing that won%26#39;t be disastrously wrinkled in your luggage or ask housekeeping to borrow an iron and board when you need it.

I usually get a wash and wear haircut as soon as I arrive in Paris because my vacation time is too precious to waste on a blow dryer, and two additional reasons. One is that I get a terrific cut, and the other is that it boggles hairdressers minds at home when they ask where I was last cut.

If you get a dual voltage dryer, don%26#39;t forget to get the adapter plug to go with it. Most hotels have a few to loan, but they may all be in use when you get there.

Bon voyage.

I have never had any problem with using my proper voltage converts and adapters for all my electrical needs and go all the time for months at a time!

I have used my hair dryer iron for years in Paris and France.

Ask Madam Catherine... one more question won%26#39;t hurt that is why she is in business to help her clients.
