Wanted apartment on Promenade in Nice

Does anyone know of the availability of an apartment on the Promeade Des Anglais in Nice for 3 to 6 weeks in July or August 2007 for 2 people.

Try http://www.riviera-rental-france.com/ they have some apartments available. I stayed in the Studio Maryland last year and its a great location and ideal for 2 people. The guy who runs the company is Marc Jansson and he will do airport tramsfers free of charge.

You should look at holidayrentals.co.uk (go to the Nice section), they have lots of Prom des Ang apartments. You might want to check that they are well insulated against the 8 lanes of traffic though!!!

The company I stayed with on my last visit (see my Jan trip report) Nice Pebbles has what looks like a fabulous 5th floor apartment on the Promenade with stunning views. I am very tempted for my next visit!

in any case Promenade des Anglias is very crowdy and noisy especially in summer and all the day and night, so ask before if the apartment windows are well isolated and if it get air conditioned, because if you want to let you windows open all the night to get some fresh air you would not be able to sleep
