Hi again. I just wonmdered if anyone could please tell me what Castle Class is and what you get for paying extra cash for it????
It%26#39;s just that we are staying at the Disneyland hotel in October (Halloween) and we were wondering wheter to upgrade or not as we have opted for a standard room and am travelling standard class on Eurostar.
I asked my travel agent and she said it wasn%26#39;t worth paying for this upgrade as you get extra perks with staying at this hotel anyway.
Is that correct????

Castle Club is basically a different level of service in the Disneyland Hotel. Its on the third floor of the hotel with restricted access. Much quieter, better service, private check in, lounge with free non alcoholic drinks all day plus tea and coffee, afternoon tea and a fastpass for use through out your stay. It costs a lot extra and whether its worth it depends on how long you plan on spending in the hotel. Rooms are more or less the same, some slightly bigger but not significantly so in my opinion. I think you would be happy witht eh general rooms in hotel, personally I would use Castle Club only for a special occasion

Thanks for your answer.

Hi Fudge,
Another opinion on Castle Club.
We have stayed in the Castle Club every time we have visited Disneyland Paris, the last visit being over the New Year. Yes it does cost more but we think it makes the visit special. Breakfast is a much more pleasant experience in the Castle Club lounge, especially now the Disney characters visit there. When it%26#39;s cold it is nice to leave the park at 4pm, via the dedicated hotel lift, for cakes and hot drinks in the lounge (part of the price) before returning to the park feeling refreshed! The view from the lounge at night over Main Street towards the illuminated castle is hard to beat. hope this helps.
Happy to answer any other related questions.

Hi Mesh
Thanks for your remarks. I%26#39;m baffled as the travel consultant didn%26#39;t seem to know much about castle club!!!!! Not good really as i would like it to be special as it%26#39;s an anniversary.
Do you get the bed turning down service and chocolate coins on the pillow with castle club?????
How much extra is it to pay please????
Thanks

Yes, you do get turndown and chocolate coins. Can%26#39;t help with prices as we always book direct with Disneyland Paris.

Hi fudge,
we are travelling to Disney Paris March 30th and we are staying at the Disneyland Hotel as well. I searched this website extensively over the last 6 months and decided that we would upgrade to the Castle Club Suites. YOu get all those things the other post said plus you get an unlimited VIP fast pass for selected rides at Disney itself For us to upgrade in Australian dollars, it cost me about $180 extra per night for 2adults and one child. I%26#39;m not sure of the room configuration, but I decided it would be well worth it. And yes, the characters do come up to the lounge where you have breakfast-i thought this would save heaps of time as we will not have to queue up to get autographs in the park itself. This is our special part of our holiday to Europe, so for me it is worth the price. Its up to you!

Thanks snowcan1962
I will get back on to my travel consultant then and get some prices.

Did they mention Castle CLASS, as in the upgrade on the trains not the castle club at the hotel?
This is the name disney now use for their first class eurostar. It means you get extra legroom and reclining seats as well as a three course meal with drinks. Worth looking at as well for a special occasion

Hi Fudge,
Thought you might like a.n.other opinion even 11 months on from your original question.
Note: anyone with an Annual pass, please read to the bottom.
The Castle Club is very special! We%26#39;ve stayed twice and are going for #3 next week for 4 nights of luxury.
The Disneyland hotel is in itself great but imagine queuing up at main reception to check in and then service overdrive breaking loose when they find out you are CC guests. You get immediately fussed over and whisked to aspecial lift that needs a CC key to operate it. Up in the CC reception you get a dedicated check in where nothing really is too much trouble. Arrive early and you can collect your park tickets whilst your luggage is taken care of and put in your room at 3pm.
Rooms are big, elegant and have the same rose petal smell that is all around the hotel. Lasy year we checked in to be welcomed by 12 long stemmed roses, a £60 bottle of Tatinger champagne, 2 soft toys for the kids and a personalised card from the management and signed by all the characters.
Views are magnificent - at night you have a magic twinkling scene but only until 11.00pm when the park lights go out. Then throughout the night you see parts of main street come to life as vans appear and people fix things. Weird. Leave the balcony door open and you get the music wafting up from the ticket entrance underneath the hotel - it plays all night.
The CC lounge is where you take a luxury, relaxing breakfast whilst non-CC guest down below form their first long queue of the day. I played merry hell 2 years ago on my daughter%26#39;s birthday after we sat up there for 2 hour bfast but with no characters visiting. They moved heaven and earth to put it right and characters now visit as standard.
So, its time for parks. Take the lift straight down the the lowest level and fibd yourself directly at the turnstyles. You feel like royalty - no walking, buses, trains.
When in the park, after 11am and usually 1-2 hours before the park closes, you can use your VIP fastpass tickets time and tine and time again.
4pm - time for afternoon tea in at CC lounge. Yummy and free. Hot drinks and soft drinks are also free all day. Alcoholic drinks sonewhat pricy.
Night - beds turned down and a lovely sleep before it all starts again.
But - a warning to all. During a trip to central Paris in 08/06, we visited DLP and bought annual passes. Now these get you a minimum of 10% discount from Disney hotels but not CC rooms - fine. BUT - it appears that to book a CC room without park tickets, costs more than with them. I am currently fighting the logic battle with Disney. Take off the tickets I don%26#39;t need cos of our Annual passes and they would want £250.28 MORE!
That said, assuming I am victorious, the CC whilst far from cheap, is the best of its kind you%26#39;re goung to fibd in any Disney hotel simply because of its location relative to the park entrance. Highly commended!
