Citea Paris Tour Eiffel - Help Please

Hi

I have found this apartment building and at €87 for a superior studio per night seems fairly reasonable... My only problem is the reviews... some fantastic... some terrible...

I have booked two superior studios, both for 1 person (me and my mum)...Is the area ok around them, are the studios clean, does it appeal to just backpackers because the price is reasonable... I have noticed no pictures of the outside area of the apartment block, is there a reason for this...

Alternatively, can anybody recommend a decent b%26amp;b to me that isnt ridiculously priced... Clean/Central ish/Welcoming is all we require.

Thanks

My wife and I scouted this property last summer after paying 110 Euro per night near the Jardin de Luxembourg for a very small room with a shower.

We were given the keys to three rooms at the Citea Tour Eiffel. I think the one on the street side may have been the %26quot;superior%26quot; room but all were fresh, with tub in a modern bathroom, kitchenette with small fridge and appointments more like what we are used to in the states. The bed is a pull-out type so we can%26#39;t vouch for the comfort but it helps to give a relatively large room an even larger feel.

The hotel is located on a clean if not quaint apartment street less than 10 minutes from the Dupleix Metro stop, which seemed to be about a 10-minute ride from the Montparnasse stop.

We got a substantial discount for booking seven nights instead of six. We found the staff (the receptionist) to be helpful but I wouldn%26#39;t count on this property to have the same level of service as some. It is a corporate short term apartment for Europeans, not the Four Seasons. It isn%26#39;t exactly under the Eiffel Tower but close enough for visitors who don%26#39;t mind a bit of a walk. We%26#39;re looking forward to staying there in May.

Many thanks for that info...

We will be staying at the end of August.
