Can anyone help me with the postage required to send a postcard back to Canada. In addition to the main postal stations are stamp available at local shops.

the cost is 0.85 euros and you can buy stamp everywhere they sell tobacco, and sometines in shops you will buy your postcards

|||

The price just changed. It is the saem for a letter and a postcard and is about 89 cents. You can buy stamps at most Tabac (look for the red diamond shaped signs).

|||

sorry gorsbill, we answered at the same moment.... take their price, sure to be more accurate.

|||

€ 0,85 is correct (for a postcard or letter, max. 20 g, to Northern America, tarif prioritaire). More info on www.laposte.fr

And in the postoffices you can buy a packet with 5 really super-pretty envelopes %26quot;pre-stamped%26quot; with pictures/photos on the front of beautiful motives from Paris. You can then put a postcard inside or write a letter.

Hi %26quot;ParisSurprise%26quot;:

Do you plan to go to the Louvre? To the right of the gift/ book shop on the information floor there is a Postoffice and the people speak English there. You can buy a packet of 5 envelops /pre-stamped International for letters or can put up to 3 postcards in them. They are pretty and colorful.

They sell these prestamped envelopes in the giftshops in Versailles too, BTW.
