I am travelling via Chambery to Les Deux Alps(late Feb). We are considering hiring a car and would like other peoples opinions on how easy and safe the conditions are upto the resort.

There is almost never a problem with the road, which is wide and well surfaced and salted fit to bust! The only exception is if it%26#39;s actually snowing heavily at the time you%26#39;re en route. Get a front wheel drive car with snow tyres and you should have no problem.

Hi, went to Deux Alps twice last year and agree roads are very good well salted and safe. If you dont want to drive how about the bus?
Great ski area with fab snow record, make sure you get the funicular to the top then walk a little further up to top T bar lift.
