Bastille Day, Relais Saint Germain and Dining Questions

We will finally be going back to Paris after 15 years for 3 nights only! It is a big (over 50 now) birthday for me (July 14, Bastille Day) and I have always wanted to be in Paris on that day. We have booked a room at the Relais Saint Germain in the 6th - anyone stayed there that can recommend a specific room maybe with a little balcony or that was very nice that we might request? We booked a regular room, not suite, etc.... pretty pricey but I loved the description of the hotel. We booked a dinner reservation at their restaurant Le Comptoir for Friday, July 13 already since they have a tasting menu during the week.

Since I have not been in Paris before on Bastille Day - where would be good to go on that/do on that day? Is it a crazy day and overcrowded? Suggestions please.

What restaurants would you recommend? We had a wonderful meal at Le Carre au Feuillants, but that was 15 years ago! is it still as wonderful? I would like to book a pretty special dinner for Saturday (Bastille Day) does not have to be outrageously expensive - jut incredibly memorable and fabulous! Would really appreciate the names of a few restaurants to look into for the two other nights.

After we leave Paris we are going on to Bruges (2 nights) Brussels (1 night) and Prague (5 mights staying at the Hotel Maximillian in the Jewish Quarter). If you have a hotel/restaurant recommendation for Bruges or Brussels that would be very welcome. Thanks for any tips you might have!

i am a big fan of Casa Olympe- the write up on one website says %26quot;Casa Olympe. One of the best restaurants in the city. Movie director Milos Forman is sometimes there. Olympe was one of the new young stars of French cuisine. Several years ago she opened this wonderful restaurant with very reasonable prices 48, rue Saint-Georges. 9th Tel: 01 42 85 26 01. Metro: St George%26quot;
