Nice in April, Is it warm and busy?

Trying to plan a trip to Nice for someone and wanted to know if Nice would be as busy as full summer in April or if it would be dead and also would the weather be warm or cool. Thanks

Nice is truly never dead in April, and pretty easy to dine without the enormous crowds during tourist season. The weather is quite comfortable during the day, reaching into the low 60%26#39;s, but it gets cool in the evening. Not quite swimming weather, although there are some daredevils, and people sunbathing. Just as a precaution, keep a small umbrella handy, for a passing shower. There%26#39;s always April showers, but Nice is great just to be there. Wherever, or whenever, enjoy!
