Hello
I am taking my dad to Chamonix for his 60th In march. When I was in Chamonix last year we went to a comedy night at an irish pub but as I had a couple to drink I cannot remember the name of the pub and I cant remember the night the comedy night was on either. Can anyone tell me these details and if they are still doing it?
Also my dad is a good skiiier and wants to do the vallee blanc. Any advice?
Finally for those worried about Snow my dad is currently in Chamonix and says its wonderful at the moment.

Hi there having only just come back from chamonix yesterday I would say that the irish bar you visited was Munsters or O%26#39;Briens........
If your dad is a good skier he will be ok to do the Vallee blanc but bear in mind it%26#39;s not the skiing it%26#39;s known for, its the ledge you have to walk down with 3000metre drops on either side he should worry about.
Don%26#39;t mean to put you off but I am a keen sportsman and will try anything but I can assure you one thing, I never want to experience that ledge ever again in my life !!!!!!!
Great pub is %26#39;THE PUB%26#39; main street with a lovely barmaid called %26#39;KAT%26#39;.
Have a good one ....................
