Le Petit parisien L'Indispensable

Just want to thank GitteK for talking about this map on the forum. Some others may have also, but she raved about it. I have been using it for the past several days planning our days /museums etc. I love the 3 pages, its so easy to use AND it lists most of the museums in each arrondissement AND the days the markets are open AND the postes. It%26#39;s a five star winner. So again, thanks.

It is fantastic. I don%26#39;t know what I%26#39;d do without mine.

Mascara, I am coming to agree with you. Heretofore I have always used my Michelin Paris atlas par arrondissements, but this is now the new me! It%26#39;s just so handy. I can%26#39;t wait to actually use it to get around in March.

Gomac,

I discovered this little guide about a year ago and I%26#39;ve sworn by it ever since.

|||

I love this map! You have the entire city at your fingertips, not just a small slice of the city that a tour guide deemed necessary. It really is l%26#39;indispensible!

|||

Where is this map available?

It sounds really helpful!

Anna,

This mapbook comes in a pocket size and can be purchased at most bookstores and news stands around Paris. They cost around 10 euros.

|||

Hi gomac - your%26#39;e welcome. My copy is so worn and greasy and I can hardly read the street maps for all my notes in the margin - and arrows and X%26#39;es marking the goodies and secrets.

Can be bought at www.fnac.fr - type Plan de Paris - and make sure you choose the

Plan de Paris par arrondissement, %26quot;relié%26quot; copy (more solid), 7,32 euro.

|||

Well, Gitte - I guess it%26#39;s time for you to treat yourself to a new copy. You shouldn%26#39;t have to start your next Paris trip with an old greasy map.

|||

Hi Shoesy - I know, but it%26#39;s hard to depart with it as it has a really personal touch to it - and what about all the chocolate shops and winebars and restaurants that have been plotted in ?

Deep sigh - why does one have to deal with such a heavy existential crisis and speculations on a Saturday morning.....

:o)

(It snowed last night, and the sun is shining, so everything is really glittering and pretty up here - no more forum for me this weekend, have to study - project management, wow......)

We have sun too. Pretty mild weather. And if you%26#39;re reading this, Gitte, it means that you%26#39;re not working. Shame on you!!!
