Please could you recommend some reasonably priced places to eat near to the hotel du pantheon.

Hi OxfordTeacher, what%26#39;s your budget?
|||
This request is for my daughter so probably in the region of 25 euros or less each. Is that possible or too hopeful?
|||
Are you referring to a prix fixe budget ?
|||
I don%26#39;t mind whatever you can recommend - also somewhere good for breakfast. Thank you.

As the hotel is just around the corner from the Rue Mouffetard, there will be plenty of choice for finding reasonably priced restaurants. If you do a search on this forum you%26#39;ll probably come across some recommendations. We had a good three course meal in one of the restaurants there from a 16 euros fixed menu. I can recommend %26quot;La Contrescarpe%26quot; which is on the Place de la Contrescarpe. Great place for people watching.

Have your daughter check www.bestrestaurantsparis.com to get an idea of the 5th district restaurants.
For breakfasts tell your daughter there are a number of boulangeries and cafes in this area that she can choose from.
|||
Any ideas for breakfast?
|||
Great budget restaurants in the area are L%26#39;Époque on rue du Cardinal-Lemoine near the Place de la Contrescarpe, Le Vigneron on rue du Pot-de-Fer just off the rue Mouffetard and Au Bon Coin on rue de la Collégiale.
Thay are all small, charming places serving traditional Parisian cuisine at budget prices and are very popular with the locals.
|||
For breakfast, do as most Parisians do and head to a local café for a jus d%26#39;orange, un café crème and a croissant or pain au beurre. I like Les Fontaines on rue Soufflot just off the Panthéon - good for people watching, or either of the two cafés at the Place de la Contrescarpe.

We enjoyed %26quot;La Contrescarpe%26quot; also!
There are so many good breakfast places along rue Moufftard and several wonderful bakeries.
I love the crepes made there with ham cheese and eggs. There are two window crepe places right there... you can also take a seat inside!
