Paris to Bayeux

hello, we will staying in Paris in February in the rue cler area and need to get to Bayeux by train. Does anyone have details on how this can be done?

we did that in Dec 2005 for the Normandy tours - that typically start at 1 p.m. for the afternoon tour.

you leave around 10 a.m. from Gare St. Lazare -

and get in to Bayeux around 12:45 p.m. -

and the vans are waiting for you at the station when you arrive.

I did first class / reserved a day or so in advance.

and brought a lunch %26amp; beverages for the train ride.
