Taxi fares

Can anyone give us a ball park figure for a taxi from Porte Maillot to Montparnasse. The Beauvais shuttle drops off at Porte Maillot and we have heardmixed reports concerning the private shuttle companies that drop off at your hotel. Thanks from Mel %26amp; Maureen.

maybe 12-16E or so... (a taxi from Gare du Nord to des Arenes (5th) cost us 10E a couple of years ago, for comparison).

It depends on a few things - the time, for example. You can see the rates at http://www.taxi-paris.net/page38.html

You don%26#39;t say where exactly you want to go, but from Porte Maillot to the Tour Montparnasse is about 6-7 km. So probably something like 8-12 euro.
