My husband and I are going to Paris from Feb. 27-Mar.1 and want to see as much as we can in Paris. After reading reviews on TA in regards to Paris and getting around it seems hectic and I do not want to spend what precious time we have searching for metros. Would it be advisable to take a tour of Paris through a tour company and hit most of the tourist spots or should we do it on or own? Also, if the answer is yes, can anyone recommend a tour company and which of their tours is the best. Thanks

You can see the sights on your own as it is possible. I recommend taking a city sightseeing bus tour to get an overall idea and then return later to see whatever sights interest you in detail. Two of the best and largest tour bus companies are Parisvision and Cityrama (they are now related) which I%26#39;ve used over the years. They are reputable and the guides are pretty good.

So you will have 4 days in Paris that is wonderful!
Have you thought of doing a boat tour on the Seine river? I enjoyed both the day time and the evening cruise.
The tour buses %26quot;Paris 1204%26quot; metioned are very nice too.
Local bus 69 also will take you on a nice tour of Paris for just one ticket each if you want to do one on your own.
If you are up to a walking tour this is a nice web site :

Have a wonderful time!
