I had a funny experience shopping for lingerie in Galeries Lafayette. There were some fabulous items on display, but all were Size Small (naturally). I asked the sales clerk if she had certain pieces in Large, and she sighed, and opened a drawer behind the cases. Between her thumb and forefinger, she held up the items, but she couldn%26#39;t bring herself to look at me. My friend and I have laughed about this for years.

An interesting word on bra shoppig in Paris... The sales ladies do not always trust the client to know her own body and it is not unheard of for them to reach out and give a good squeeze to confirm the cup size. Always a ig thrill! Also, the Galeries Lafayette may quite possible have one of teh most beautiful bra departments on earth, as it is placed directly under that gorgeous stained glass dome.

The cup sizes are the same, but I think that 75 is like the American 34, 80 is like 36, etc.
