Birthday Surprise

I am looking for advise on a birthday suprise for one of my girlfriends. We (4 of us) will be in Paris for a long weekend in February and our last night there happens to be one of the girls 35th birthday... too fun!!! Anyway - we are all 1st timers in Paris and I was looking for any suggestions as to where we should take her for her birthday... We are all so excited for this trip we can hardly stand it!!! Fun, music, old school, and the all around Parisian experience... and of course the fabulous wine!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - we were planning on NOT planning and just walking around but I would love to surprise her with one planned birthday surprise!!!

Thanks!!!

Melissa

Dinner at the %26quot;Altitude95 Restaurant%26quot; in the Eiffel Tower worked for my wifes birthday (check the www.tour-eiffel website for more details). For activities, you might want to check the VT %26quot;Paris Atractions%26quot; tab (to your left) ---or--- go to www.virtualtourist/paris.com and check the %26quot;things to do%26quot; section ---and--- check www.paris.org. Tip; although %26quot;just walking around%26quot; in Paris is great , the weather is subject to be cold (possibly very cold but hopefully not), so some forethought would be advised (how to use the metro -- places to get out of the cold etc.). Have fun.

%26lt;%26lt; for one of my girlfriends%26gt;%26gt; at first I thought you were a guy juggling four different women!

For young, hip 30 somethings out on a special occasion in Paris, I%26#39;d really recommend Le Cafe de l%26#39;Homme in the Musee de l%26#39;Homme, just across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. First, there is the view.. the ET. Second, the decor, very trendy, chic, modern with gold leafed walls and fantastic light fixtures. Finally the crowd, which is also very hip, chic, and tends to be mostly French. The food is good and the over all experience memorable. They have a website, so you can check them out, see the menu and even reserve online.
