Hotel close to Gare du Nord or les Halles or elsewhere?

Will be travelling to Paris on Feb 24th for the rugby match at the Stade de France.

Want to stay close to the RER B for easy access to the Stade de France and for access to Roissy CDG the next day.

Where should we stay? Close to the Gare du Nord or les Halles or elsewhere? (want accommodation in town, not near Saint-Denis or airport).

Need 2 single rooms. Budget from €100 to €130. Any recommendations.

Thanks.

Hi CAB

St Michel and Luxembourg stations are both on the RER Line B and are good options for hotel locations in the 5th or 6th and Chatelet station is reasonably close to the Marais (4th part) so any of these are nice locations where you can easily find a single for the price you mention. You could consider ArrowCapet%26#39;s favourite near St Michel - Hotel de Suez and your price range would get you each a double for that price (per room I assume?)

or in the Marais if you are ready to walk 300 m to Chatelet you could see if the Hotel de Nice has vacancies

Thanks a million.

I will try the Hôtel de Suez.

Would you know of a place we could have some (good - I%26#39;m not the fast food type) late food after the match (around 23h30)? in the 5e or elsewhere.

Hi CAB

I am rarely thinking of food at that hour but you are staying in the right area for late night eateries,

If I may quote ArrowCapet again he recommends the Depart St Michel which is open 24/7

For good, late night food, I like Au Pied du Cochon at Les Halles. It is a 24 hour place and an easy post dinner walk to the Hotel Suez for a couple of Rugby fans.

Thanks a million.

I%26#39;m all set for a good match, good food and a good nights sleep.

Cheers.
