Frejus vs. Ste Maxime

Good afternoon,

My wife and I and 3 kids (11, 9, 8) are coming to the Riviera in August. We%26#39;re spending the first two days in Antibes/Juan area, and the last day in Nice, but for the middle two days we were thinking of either Frejus or Ste Maxime area...

Which would be a better %26quot;family%26quot; atmosphere area to stay? We basically will be doing beach stuff. Any ideas of good hotels in either area?

Thanks so much.

August? - Young family? - Everywhere is teeming. The beaches have little to choose between them: sand and sea. IMHO stake out a little more territory about what you are interested in, and the little mites won%26#39;t know the difference, but you certainly will.

Cracked Record: - the kids will complain wherever you go, and they will enjoy whatever there is.

Hotels go by budget. You are gong to have to give us a clue - 2-3-4-star?

I would just stay in one place in your circumstances Antibes/Juan. It is so busy at that time of year in the places that you mention it really is not worth moving. Will you have a car? Depending on the day of the week that you will be driving you can get caught up in lots of traffic. I really like Ste Maxime but not in August. The only time I go through there in August is before 9am or after 10pm. Similarly for the other places you mention. So just choose one, get there and then relax and enjoy.
