Hotel in Saint Germain des Pres

I am looking for hotel recomendations for a seven night stay in Saint Germaindes Pres. Our budget for a double room is about $325 for a double room. We will be going in May, and would like an air conditioned room. Of course we would love it if breakfast was included. Thanks for any suggestions .

I would suggest you make a 1st search in the Hotels section of TA and come up with a few suggestions. To help your search check the Euro rate as many quoted prices will rely on the Euro value of the roome then convert it in US$. At this price search for 3 stars hotels.

You might want to try the Hotel Senat (four star) on the rue de Vaugirard or the Hotel Littré (four star) on the rue Littré. I loved both these hotels. If you find they are too expensive, I also like the Hotel Aramis (a three star) on the rue du Rennes.

A friend and I were starting to plan our next trip tp Paris for early April of %26#39;07. I%26#39;ve started watching airfares and last weekend I went to TripAdvisor where I did a search on the Paris hotels page. I wanted location: Saint Germain des Pres, Price $200.00 - $300.00. And I eliminated almost anything that was not within a few blocks of the Seine and not in the 6th Arr. The 6th is a nice, central location.

I wish all of them had more photos, and it%26#39;s amazing about negative comments...almost all refer to size of room and surly staff. More information is usually available if you GOOGLE the hotel name.

The winner is #6. They have competitive rates and a package they call the %26quot;tete-a-tete.%26quot; It includes breakfast which we were not going to get this time, a one-day metro pass for two, a voucher for a boat ride for two, a welcome bottle of wine, a voucher for an apparitif at a local bistro, and a ride to or from CDG. I figure this will save us approx 100.00e for things we would have done anyway.
