My husband and I are planning to got to France at the end of June 2007. Can anybody please give me an indication of prices - How mauch is a beer in a cafe; a dinner for 2 with good red wine in a restaurant; cognac and Jagermeister in a bar and lastly a nice double room with private bathroom in a village? Are the small villages cheapr than the more well known ones?
THANKS!

Hi Cecillia
Beer 2 to 2.5 euros
Lunch is cheaper than dinner, our local resto for lunch 23 euros for 2 including wine. Dinner allow 50 euros, if you have digestifs they are always expensive, buy a bottle in the supermarket.
B%26amp;Bs depends on facilities, but say 80 euros per night including b/fast and upwards. Our tariff is from 100- 130 euros per night. Check out this web site for B%26amp;Bs in the Luberon. You are visiting in high season and would need to book soonish. Mail me on mas.pomona@wanadoo.fr if you need further info.

It depends where you go.
Of course, Luberon is more expensive.
If you come in the Verdon Canyon, you can have a room in a 3 star hotel in la Palud with eated pool for the same rate as a B%26amp;B in Luberon!!
