Other discount coupons - but not the usual ones?

I am grateful for another forum poster who suggested that a discount coupon for 2 Euros was available online for the Seine cruise at their website. Vedettes du Pont Neuf.

I am aware of the Museum Pass and the Paris pass and the Paris visite passes on each of their websites.

My question is, are there other coupons or discount books or types of discount passes available online or in the city that I can seek out?

10% off at the Galeries Lafayette Dept. stores with the Paris map that they sponser. I you will find just about everywhere upon your arrival; hotel lobbies, airport and even at the store itself. Even if you are a non-shopper, the map is free and it is a very good map.

You can get the TVA tax refunded at the airport or even in some large department stores in Paris, with your non-EU passport. There is a purchase minimum, but it can be a worthwhile discount.

10% off at point-of-purchase at PRINTEMPS stores--

Plus any VAT refund / credit you may qualify for IF you meet the 175€ minimum purchase requirement.

In addition to the shopping coupons, my hotel last summer had a rack of tourist coupons which on the back also included Metro directions .

The racks can be found in many hotels. If you do not have one in your hotel, just stop into another and check in about their information and take the free coupons from their tourist information rack.

There were so many for restaruants, 10% off Museum Grevin ( wax museum), and lots of other museums with discounts off. I also got discounts there for the Seine River Cruises.

It you go to the Museum of Arts and Meters on the back of their ticket was a coupon worth entry into another museum good for three months. ( I think the coupon for museum changes.) Make sure you look on the back of tickets for free offers too.
