Paris During French National Holiday

I am planning a trip to Paris that will coincide with the French Labor Day, May 1. I am just curious what that will mean as far as what will be open/closed, etc. Will there still be things for us to do - other than the obvious (parks, etc.).

Any help would be great!

You should indeed expect almost all shops and museums to be closed on May 1 - however, you can still visit the Eiffel Tower.

By the way, May 1 is not our %26quot;National Holiday%26quot;, despite our worldwide reputation for the shortest working week! ;-)

Enjoy your stay in Paris.

You could always go to the Track:

Mar. 1er Mai SAINT-CLOUD Plat

that%26#39;s what I%26#39;ll probably be doing on Easter Monday...also a

National Holiday.

Lun. 9 Avril SAINT-CLOUD Plat

Bon Chance
