Saint- Germain to CDG

I was looking at the RATP which would be the fastest way to go from Saint germain metro to CDG airport. The site presented the following option: First to pick up a metro to Gare de L est.

After:

2

Direction : La Courneuve-8-Mai-1945

from : Gare de l%26#39;Est (Verdun)

to : La Courneuve-8-Mai-1945

18h06

18h21

15 mn

Go to : Aéroport Charles de Gaulle. Will be a 3 minute walking.

Is it correct?

Easier is:

Metro from Saint Germain to Saint Michel (line4 directed to Porte de Clignacourt) then RER B, direct to Roissy-Charles de Gaulles

If you are attempting to get from the SAINT GERMAIN des PRÉS Metro station, on the #4 (Porte d%26#39;Orleans / Porte de Clignancourt) Metro ligne, (located at Blvd. Saint Germain %26amp; rue Bonaparte) in the 6eme-Saint Germain des Prés to one of the two RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne train stations, serving CDG....those directions are NUTS !!

SPECIFICALLY....where will be your STARTING point / address in central Paris ?? What will be the departure terminal building (or airline) at CDG ?

From the SAINT GERMAIN des PRÉS Metro station, take the #4 Metro ligne (heading in the direction of Porte de Clignancourt) to SAINT MICHEL Metro station. Then make the CORRESPONDENCE through the large SAINT MICHEL-NOTRE DAME station complex to the RER portion of the station and take the RER %26#39;B-3%26#39; ligne (heading in the direction of Aeroport CDG...any %26#39;B%26#39; train with an %26#39;..E xxx..%26#39; designator) to whichever of the two(2) CDG RER stations (CDG #1 or CDG #2) serving your departure ternninal.

As an alternative, you could also take the #4 Metro ligne (heading in the direction of CDG) to the GARE du NORD Metro station...and then make the underground CORRESPONDENCE between the Metro portion of the GdN station complex to the RER portion of the station and take the same RER %26#39;B-3%26#39; ligne train onward to CDG.

For Heaven%26#39;s sake - take a taxi from your hotel to RER Saint-Michel and %26#39;opla: you are right at the train going to CGD airport.

Just be sure that you take RER line B3 - it will also say in the signs above the platform, that it goes to the airport.
