Am looking at renting properties at one of these locations -Mandelieu, Eze sur mer or Beaulieu sur mer. Have never been to any of these places so can anyone who has give me their opinion? Basically we want somewhere to relax but be able to do the tourist things should we feel the need. Thanks.

You could certainly relax in Eze Sur Mer as there is almost nothing there. Beaulieu is much bigger but still small, with a population of perhaps a thousand. Personally, I prefer St Jean or Villefranche. (I am biased as we have property in Villeferanche) Beaulieu has its fans but I find it a bit featureless.
Don%26#39;t have any real experience of Mandelieu but have never been able to understand why people go to Cannes when Nice is so much more interesting. Each to his own as they say.

Thanks for the advice, LondonBob, much appreciated
.
Basically, we%26#39;ve just decided to book a stay over the Easter school holidays. Availability is more limited for that reason, plus I%26#39;ve left it a bit late too. I did get quotes from a couple of places in NIce but they were mainly right in the heart of things which I think would be great for a few days but not very restful for 2 wks. Plus we will have a car and, from what I%26#39;ve read on this forum, it%26#39;s a bit risky parking on the street! If I manage to find somewhere with secure parking, I%26#39;ll book it but I think that%26#39;s unlikely. I%26#39;ll keep trying though.....
