Hi, I am going to be in Paris for several days at the beginning of February and I would be interested in using the services of a English speaking tour guide for a one on one tour for a half or full day. Does anyone have suggestions? Given the short time till I%26#39;ll be there, quick answers would be particularly appreciated. Thank you all so much.

There have been complaints that he is slow to answer emails so dont put all your eggs in his basket but Michael Osman acted as my tour guide in February 2005 and is well regarded and not expensive. Here is his email and website

I think the one below is his current one but the other one has a phone number that might or might not be current

Hi. We always use parisphototours.com and send our friends who are going to Paris to them - It%26#39;s a small operation and everybody%26#39;s who%26#39;s used them says they%26#39;re fantastic.

I also recomend Paris photo tours. I have used Barbara twice. She is an American who went to school in Az. but is married to a Frenchman. She can speak French and this comes in very handy as you usually need it. Don%26#39;t let the name cofuse you as I don%26#39;t take photos. It%26#39;s just a name but if you do take photos they know good places. Barbara%26#39;s husband is a phtogtographer.
