The food on the cruises is no good. Better to go on an evening cruise and have dinner elsewhere.
I don%26#39;t know what medium priced is for you. I loved Cafe de la Paix, very pretty and very historic. Le Cafe Marly at the Louvre was also fun, we got a table with a view of the pyramids.

In June it can be hot and it can be cold - it just depends on the day. Two summers ago, it was downright hot when we arrived in late May and cool (days) to cold (evening) when we returned 3 weeks later. I (female, obviously) brought sleeveless shells and short-sleeved tops to wear with black or khaki pants and skirts and topped it off with a black cardigan when it turned off cold, which it did at one point during our trip. I did bring a light leather blazer, which I really needed the last evening of our trip. I took some comfy black sandals I already had and was pretty comfortable with all the walking, although one day I%26#39;d had enough of mincing around in heels and borrowed my daughter%26#39;s black flip flops. Everyone else was wearing flat sandals and flip flop looking shoes, so no one even raised their brow at it. We took a Seine cruise, but not the dinner one. Since the only people on these cruises are tourists, my guess is that men wouldn%26#39;t need a coat and tie, but a sport coat over nice knakis with a polo or collared shirt should be more than fine.

thanks for the info. i guess i have to be prepared for any type of weather.

Yes, be prepared for anything. Bring clothes you can layer. In June it can be scorching hot or downright chilly. I have purchased jackets and socks in June and July. And it can change from one day to the next, as well.
At least one jacket, at least one pair of socks, at least one long sleeved-shirt and at least one pair of long pants, that%26#39;s what I%26#39;d do.

I%26#39;ve been to Paris twice, both times in June. In 2004 I felt cold in the evening with my lightweight blazer, while in 2006 there were evenings when I was hot with no jacket at all. Be prepared for a wide range of temperatures.

Even your one day in Normandy ( coast?) you may need a rain jacket or wind breaker.
Last June it was rainy and cold the first couple of weeks but got very hot the last week. The weather is hard to determine. I wore slacks and a cotton shirt and a rain jacket and also an Isotoner rain scarf the first part of June and then the last part sun dresses and lite gauze blouse over shoulders for sun protection.

For great Jewish pastries try Sacha Finkelstein on the Rue des Rosiers in the Marais. Another good place on that street, but it%26#39;s been closed for a while and the mystery is if and when it will ever re-open, is Jo Goldenberg, good Jewish deli.
L%26#39;As du Fallafel is another great place on that street, with a take-away window.
As far as chicken livers, you could try La Rotisserie d%26#39;en Face, which is the bistro belonging to Jacques Cagna in the 6th arr. It specializes in rotisserie chicken and just may have chicken livers. You can check their menu on the site http://www.jacquescagna.com
