Which hotel in Paris?

Hi,

I am going to Paris in March for a romantic break (hopefully!) I know nothing about locations of attractions etc so bear with me if I am asking the impossible!

I would prefer a smaller boutique style hotel but 4 or 5* I have been looking at Dokhans Trocadero or the St James %26amp; Albany Hotel and Spa but am very open to suggestions! We want to go to the Moulin Rouge (I know it has a reputation for being a rip off but I really really want to see it) am tempted to go for drinks rather than dinner having read the reviews on here!

So small classy hotel, fairly central, budget £700 for 3 nights - I want to be in a French hotel not just another hotel bedroom - maybe with a jacuzzi in the room?

All advise appreciated - nice restaurants, classy bars etc.....

Hi,

Try the Terrass Hotel. I think it is the only 4* in montemarte, and a short walk to the moulin rouge (but far enough away that you are not sleeping beside a peepshow). We had a great room there (Jacuzzi, real king sized bed, an amazing view).

It%26#39;s not really a boutique hotel, but it%26#39;s not huge either.

(don%26#39;t order breakfast)
