Apartments in cannes

Hi,

I will be travelling to cannes in July and I have some some apartments in mind but I am confused on some locations, in particular rue de belges, or other side streets off la croisette.

I would really appreciate if travellers to cannes could tell me what these areas are like as i have a teenage daughter with me.

rue des Belges is %26quot;very busy%26quot;, as it is right across from Palais des Festivals (the beginning of La Croisette) with constant throngs of people. Just 2 streets up is rue d%26quot;Antibes, also very busy. If you don%26#39;t mind crowds, the location is very central, walking distance to most everything, including the Old Port and public beaches.

I suggest that you visit the Cannes offcial website (has all kinds of info including maps) and also do a %26quot;search%26quot; in this forum, for previous posts about Cannes.

You might want to know that July is very hot. We have the A/C on by mid-June ~ that could be a consideration when choosing the Apt. as not all of them have it.

The apartment I have in mind has air conditioning and on rue des belges. The crowds I don%26#39;t mind so much, once the area itself is good and safe enough for walking around.
