Hi, I%26#39;m looking for an apartment to rent in either the 5th or 6th in July this year. We need something with two bedrooms, with aircon. We do not want to spend more than AUD$600 - $ 650 per night. We would appreciate any recommendations you might have.
I have looked at many apartment websites, but would prefer a recommendation, as it is quite overwhelming, and I am unsure who I can, and cannot trust.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Meggsie
That is a very high budget for an apartment as it is about 350 to 390 Euros a night for a two bedroom flat. Search %26quot;aparment%26quot; or similar and there are many threads where people recommend rental agencies they have used with no difficulty. I used parisaddress.com last year but not sure they will have anything as luxurious as your budget would allow you.

Go to vacationinparis.com and look at the 2br called Luxembourg Splendor. We rented this apt last Sept and it was wonderful. It%26#39;s on rue Vavin in the 6th. Very close to rue Montparnasse. Very clean, bright, nice area. Highly recommended.

Thank you both very much. I have been dealing with a travel agent, who has shown me a couple of apartments that have been AUD$725 per night. She is aware that it is above our budget and I have requested cheaper places but she has not come up with anything - so I was starting to think I may need to pay around the $600 per night to get something decent. I am realising this is not the case.

MeggsieB - that is a great budget - you should find something lovely in that price range!
I have been doing the apartment hunt also - and have found vrbo.com to be useful, but having no experience in this search either I can%26#39;t recommend anything specific to you.
Good Luck with the search!

We are renting an apartment from Isabelle @ www.apartment-in-france.com and have good communications and transactions with her. We have an apartment in the 6th-9, rue Princesse. She has others available in the 5th and 6th. You could try her.
